Cinecittà
Cinecittà S.p.A. is an Italian public company whose sole shareholder is the Ministry of Economy and Finance; shareholder rights are exercised by the Ministry of Culture in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Cinecittà manages legendary Cinecittà’s Studios, promoting Italian cinema in the world as member of EFP, distributing Italian first and second time feature films and documentaries. Moreover, it manages “Archivio Luce” film and photographic Archive, that has been registered by UNESCO in the registry “Memory of the World”.



Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo del Ministero della Cultura
DGCA – MiC supports the creation, production, distribution and circulation of film and audiovisual works, the modernisation of cinemas and technical industries.It manages the Italian film fund (annual minimum budget: 750 million €), represents Italy in the Council of Europe, and other international institutions. It also manages bilateral funds supporting international co-productions. It hosts the Film Commissionsกฏ coordination office and oversees the italyformovies.it website which gives information about locations and national/regional production incentives.



APA – Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi
APA – Audiovisual Producers Association is the Italian Audiovisual Producers Association which represents production companies operating in series, film for TV and VOD, entertainment, documentary and cartoon, supporting their industrial growth and international promotion.
The Association is constantly committed to boosting the International visibility of the sector by encouraging the participation to major international Trade Fairs and Events.
APA assists its members providing them several services, such as:

  • coordination of international trade meetings focused on coproduction,
  • mediation with Institutions, broadcasters and Unions,
  • audiovisual sector researches.

APA is a member of CEPI (European Coordination of Independent Producers) fulfilling its Vice Presidency. 
From 2015, APA in partnership with ANICA organizes MIA – International Audiovisual Market of Rome.
From 2022 APA Service leads MIA – International Audiovisual Market of Rome.




Ice – Agenzia per la promozione all’estero e l’internazionalizzazione delle imprese italiane
ITA – Italian Trade Agency is the Governmental agency that supports the business development of our companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy.
With a motivated and modern organization and a widespread network of overseas offices, ITA provides information, assistance, consulting, promotion and training to Italian small and medium-sized businesses. Using the most modern multi-channel promotion and communication tools, it acts to assert the excellence of Made in Italy in the world.

The audiovisual office of ITA is engaged in: 

  • promoting the internationalization of the Italian audiovisual industry and is committed to growing the value of Italian film exports, supporting the presence of Italian films and TV products at festivals and markets such as Cannes Marché du Film, Berlinale/EFM, TIFF- Toronto International Film Festival, MipCom, Hot Docs and Mifa among others;
  • supporting the Italian Film Commissions in attracting film and TV inward investment, and in promoting Italy as a film making destination, and the Italian technical industries as partner of choice; 
  • fostering co-production projects by helping to connect Italian film makers (producers, writers, directors) with international counterparts; 
  • helping Italian film and TV festivals to grow internationally by inviting to Italy buyers, producers, broadcasters, commissioning editors and other foreign representatives of the audiovisual sector.

ITA works for the promotion of the Italian audiovisual industry in close connection with ANICA (National Association of Italian cinematographic, audiovisual and multimedia industry), APA (Association of Italian Audiovisual producers), Doc/It (Association of Italian Documentary Producers), Cartoon Italia, and with Cinecittà and the Italian Film Commissions.
Through its engagement in the internationalization of the Italian audiovisual sector, ITA also promotes worldwide the “Made in Italy” image and the Italian life-style, indirectly contributing to the development of other important Italian production sectors (tourism, food, fashion, furniture, culture).More recently ITA has opened up its activity to the promotion of the Italian videogame industry in cooperation with IIDEA (Italian Interactive Digital Entertainment Association) considering videogames as a very innovative sector that integrates technology and creativity, with a strong international growth potential.



Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia
Friuli-Venezia Giulia is a compendium of elegant places proud of its beauty, whose cities travelled the world and knew cultures and religions: Trieste is among the most cosmopolitan cities in Italy and the scene of intertwined stories. Here the solemn monumentality of Central Europe takes the scene, with the Grand Canal that creeps into the Borgo Teresiano and the lights of Piazza Unità d’Italia, the largest seafront square in Europe on which stretches for over two hundred meters the Molo Audace. From here, looking towards the profile of the coast, the Miramare Castle opens into the panorama, traditionally named with the expression “Mira el mar” by Maximilian of Habsburg-Lorraine, as the view reminded him of the Atlantic coast. Trieste is also city of coffee, Porto Franco for its imports and still today, it is the most important port in the Mediterranean.


PromoTurismo FVG
PromoTurismoFVG is the regional organization and DMO of Friuli Venezia Giulia, which deals with tourism promotion, strategy, and operational management of the region. Its mission is to develop the tourist system, providing users with strategic guidelines and dealing with the operational management of the two main beaches (Grado and Lignano Sabbiadoro) and the six ski areas of the region (Sappada, Piancavallo, Sauris – Forni di Sopra, Zoncolan, Tarvisio, Sella Nevea-Kanin), cooperating with stakeholders, promoting regional brands (Collio, San Daniele, Montasio, Trieste and others) and offering an extensive repertoire of tourist products. The organization has about 350 people employed in different areas of work and focuses on products Art and culture, sea, mountain 365, bike/outdoor, Mice, golf, villages and historic homes which, together with the internal division dedicated completely to food and wine, allow the promotion and offer 360 degrees of the FVG region.



Friuli Venezia Giulia Film Commission
Established in the year 2000 as one of the first in Italy, FVGFC has been managing a Production Fund – called FVG Film Fund – since 2003, the first institute of its kind in Italy, created to finance filming activities carried out in Friuli Venezia Giulia, with the aim of increasing, but at the same time selecting, the economic spin-off of audiovisual productions in the Region.
The establishment of the Film Fund in FVG represents a real turning point in the national audiovisual industry. Today, most film commissions have similar instruments.
One of FVGFC’s strengths, recognised by Italian and international producers and executive producers, is the preparation and experience of its management, which spans over twenty years and allows us to better manage all those issues and critical problems that every production has to deal with, both from a bureaucratic and logistical point of view. MPA – Motion Picture Association
MPA is the leading advocate of the film, television, and streaming industry around the world. The MPA works to champion the growing diversity of filmmakers, safeguard intellectual property rights, advance technological innovation, and support trade policies that can further expand the global film and TV marketplace. 
MPA members include: Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Netflix Studios, LLC, Paramount Pictures Corporation, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Universal City Studios LLC, and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.



PGA – Producers Guild of America
La Producers Guild of America è un’associazione di categoria senza scopo di lucro che rappresenta, protegge e promuove gli interessi di tutti i membri del team di produzione nel cinema, nella televisione e nei media emergenti. I PGA Awards sono stati uno degli indicatori più affidabili per l’Oscar per il miglior film.
L’Associazione investe nei suoi valori fondamentali a vantaggio dell’industria di settore in generale.  Questi valori sono diretti a facilitare il collocamento dei suoi membri, sostenendo pratiche sostenibili in produzioni che riducono al minimo i danni umani e ambientali, garantendo una struttura culturale che promuove la sicurezza e crea strade più facilmente percorribili nell’Associazione per la prossima generazione di produttori, in particolare quelli delle popolazioni poco rappresentate nel settore. Tutto l’anno ospita una serie di programmi educativi, di mentoring e di networking professionali.



CNC – Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée
The CNC (the French National Center of Cinema), created by the act of 25 October 1946, is a public administrative organization with a legal entity status and financial autonomy. It operates under the authority of the Ministry of Culture and Dominique Boutonnat is its President.

The CNC’s principal responsibilities are 
– regulation,
– support for the economy of the film, television, video, multimedia and technical industries,
– the promotion of films and television productions and their broadcasting to all audiences,
– the preservation and enhancement of cinema heritage.


Unifrance
Founded in 1949, Unifrance is the organisation responsible for promoting French cinema and TV content worldwide.
Located in Paris, Unifrance employs around 50 staff members, as well as representatives based in the U.S., in China, and in Japan. The organisation currently brings together more than 1,000 French cinema and TV content professionals (producers, talents, agents, sales companies, etc.) working together to promote French films and TV programmes among foreign audiences, industry executives, and media.
Unifrance is supported by the French Government, the CNC, the PROCIREP and by many public and private partners.
