Gabriele Immirzi, 47 years old, is COO of Fremantlemedia Italia.
After studying and working for several years as a journalist, he founded the television production company Wilder in 2000 (with Lorenzo Mieli and Elena Recchia), in a few years becoming a reference point for factual and scripted innovative productions. In 2006, Wilder was acquired by Fox International Channels.
In 2010 the working group moved on to direct Fremantlemedia Italia, creating great entertainment formats such as X Factor and Italia’s Got Talent, factual entertainment programs, and talk shows, as Non è l’Arena, TV fiction, and the longest-running soap Italian, Un posto al sole.
With the subsidiary Wavy he produced Chi vuol essere milionario and The Voice of Italy.
Fremantle is also a leader in the creation of digital extensions for its programs, in brand integrations and in branded entertainment projects for television and the web.
