Born in Rome on March 11, 1961, Levi started his career in production in 1981 as the executive producer on some productions for Tangram Film, the company at which he later became a partner in 1986. They produced many films including: “La voglia di vincere” directed by Vittorio Sindoni, “The Belly of an Architect” directed by Peter Greenway, “Diventerò padre” directed by Gianfranco Albano, “Blue Blood” directed by Sidney Hayers, “La luna rubata” directed by Gianfranco Albano, “Caramelle” directed by Cinzia TH Torrini, “Ultimo banco” directed by Umberto Marino, “Il nostro piccolo angelo” directed by Andrea and Antonio Frazzi, “Piovra 8 – Lo scandalo” directed by Giacomo Battiato, “David’s Summer” directed by Carlo Mazzacurati, “Piovra 9 – Il piatto” directed by Giacomo Battiato, “Until Tomorrow” directed by Gianni Zanasi, running at the 56th Venice Film Festival, “Sotto la luna” directed by Franco Bernini, “Una farfalla nel cuore” directed by Giuliana Gamba, “La voce del sangue” directed by Alessandro Di Robilant, “Brancaccio” directed by Gianfranco Albano, “The Young Casanova” directed by Giacomo Battiato, “Questo amore” directed by Luca Manfredi.

Since 2003 Levi has been the Managing Director of 11 Marzo Film. Production is mostly dedicated to particularly demanding fiction intended for primetime television on RAI and Mediaset networks. In 2018 the 11 Marzo Film realizes a prestigious international co-production based on the novel by Umberto Eco “The Name of the Rose” sold in more than 130 countries in the world.

11 Marzo Film has been producing full-length films directed for the big screen since 2003. Among the films are: “Paz!” directed by Renato De Maria, “Nemmeno in un sogno” directed by Gianluca Greco, “Amatemi” directed by Renato De Maria, “Nelle tue mani” directed by Peter Del Monte, “Questo piccolo grande amore” directed by Riccardo Donna, “Fiabeschi torna a casa” directed by Max Mazzotta, “Nessuno mi pettina bene come il vento” directed by Peter Del Monte, “These Days” directed by Giuseppe Piccioni.

Some of these projects have been awarded at prestigious international film festivals.
