CEPI – APA AI Act Joint Letter
APA, through CEPi and other European organization of the cultural sector, signed a letter addressed to MEP’s, Commissioners-Designate hearings in the European Parliament and Member States about the AI Act.
The letter urges them to ensure the proper implementation of the AI Act, particularly in relation to Copyright and calls for the AI Act to establish a legislative framework that ensures accountability in the AI Industry and a use of copyright-protected specifically for content training AI models. It also highlights that the transparency measures of the AI Act are necessary to create a fair licensing market.
