Copyright Directive
The European Parliament approves the Copyright Directive. After a long debate, 348 MEPs voted in favor, 274 against and 36 abstained. Member States will now need to approve the vote only formally, and then the directive will become law in two years. The debate has now moved to Brussels, where the actual regulations of the Directive are discussed. Here is the CEPI press release!
