Founded in 1989 by Domenico Procacci, Fandango is a Film Production, a Sales company, a Publishing House and a Music Label.
Fandango has unveiled many of the greatest Italian talents of the last decades, such as Gabriele Muccino, Emanuele Crialese and Matteo Garrone, producing and internationally distributing some of the most important Italian contemporary successes: “Gomorrah” by Matteo Garrone, “Loose Cannons” by Ferzan Özpetek , “The Consequences Of Love” by Paolo Sorrentino, “Habemus Papam” by Nanni Moretti. Fandango has teamed up with Wildside, RAI and HBO to launch the breakout TV series “My Brilliant Friend”. The company also collaborated with Netflix (“Luna Nera”) and has recently achieved new successes, producing the “I Can Quit Whenever I Want” trilogy, “Made in Italy” by Luciano Ligabue, “The Armadillo Prophecy” by Emanuele Scaringi, “Bangla” by Phaim Bhuiyan, “Bellissime” by Elisa Amoruso, and internationally distributing “Twin Flower” by Laura Luchetti, the documentary “Faith” by Valentina Pedicini (selected for the Berlin Critics’ Week 2020), the documentary “Mafia Is Not What It Used to Be” by Franco Maresco (Special Jury Prize Venice Film Festival 2020) and many other documentaries and fiction film.
