Federico Scardamaglia was born in 1974 in Rome, where he obtained a Law degree from “La Sapienza” University. In 2001, he attended the Rai Script course in Screenwriting, and the following year, he completed the Magica Emam Master (European Master in Audiovisual Management) in Rome. He began his career as a producer alongside his father Francesco, creating successful dramas such as “Virginia, la Monaca di Monza” directed by Alberto Sironi, starring Giovanna Mezzogiorno, “La Caccia” directed by Massimo Spano, starring Claudio Amendola and Alessio Boni, “I Figli Strappati” directed by Massimo Spano, starring Antonia Liskova and Daniele Pecci, “Papa Luciani, il sorriso di Dio” directed by Giorgio Capitani, starring Neri Marcorè, “Una Madre” directed by Massimo Spano, starring Violante Placido, “Puccini” directed by Giorgio Capitani, starring Alessio Boni, and “Eroi per caso” directed by Alberto Sironi, starring Neri Marcorè and Flavio Insinna.

He has continued his work consistently, with the production of successful films, series, and TV miniseries, including “Paolo Borsellino – i 57 giorni” directed by Alberto Negrin, starring Luca Zingaretti, “Barabba,” an international production directed by Roger Young, starring Billy Zane, the popular TV series “Una Pallottola nel Cuore” directed by Luca Manfredi, the TV film “In arte Nino” directed by Luca Manfredi, starring Elio Germano, and the TV series “La Fuggitiva” directed by Carlo Carlei, starring Vittoria Puccini.

In 2021, he produced the film “…Altrimenti ci arrabbiamo!” for cinema release, directed by YouNuts!, starring Edoardo Pesce and Alessandro Roia, as well as the TV film “Tutto per mio figlio” directed by Umberto Marino, starring Giuseppe Zeno, Nastro d’Argento 2023 winner for Legalità (Silver Ribbon for Legality).

He produced the TV Series “The Lions of Sicily” available since 2023 on Disney+, based on the eponymous best-selling novel by Stefania Auci, directed by Paolo Genovese starring Michele Riondino and Miriam Leone and  2024 Nastri d’Argento winner  for Best Drama Series (Silver Ribbon for Best Drama Series).
